Why we do this for free

Most businesses have no idea what their website is costing them, because the losses are invisible: emails landing in spam folders, pages that search engines never indexed, a mobile site that loads too slowly for anyone to wait, and increasingly, content that AI assistants cannot read at all.

The audit measures all of it from the outside using publicly available signals. You get a written report ordered by commercial impact — not a scanner dump, and not a sales document with the findings blurred out until you pay.

If the report shows nothing much is wrong, we will tell you that. It happens, and saying so is worth more to us than a sale you would regret.

The twelve checks

01

Page load speed and Core Web Vitals

How fast your site loads on mobile, measured against Google's own field data thresholds.

02

Mobile responsiveness

Whether your site is usable on a phone, where most of your visitors actually are.

03

SSL and security headers

Certificate validity, HTTPS enforcement, and the response headers that protect your visitors.

04

Email domain configuration

Whether SPF, DKIM and DMARC are set correctly — the difference between landing in the inbox and the spam folder.

05

Search engine indexing

How many of your pages Google and Bing have actually indexed, and what is blocking the rest.

06

AI crawler visibility

Whether GPTBot, ClaudeBot and PerplexityBot can read your pages — most JavaScript-built sites are invisible to them.

07

Structured data

Whether your pages carry the schema markup that answer engines need in order to cite you.

08

Google Business Profile

Whether your listing exists, is claimed, and matches your website details exactly.

09

Backup and recovery

Whether your site and data can actually be restored, and how much you would lose.

10

Accessibility baseline

WCAG 2.1 checks that also affect how search engines interpret your content.

11

Broken links and errors

Dead pages and server errors that waste crawl budget and lose visitors.

12

Competitor visibility comparison

How your search and AI-answer presence compares with two named competitors.

What you can do with it

Fix it

Hand it to your own team

Every finding names the specific problem and the specific fix, so an in-house developer can act on it without needing to interpret anything.

Compare

Check your current supplier

If someone already manages your site, the report tells you whether the basics are actually being handled. Several clients have used it exactly this way.

Decide

Work out what is worth doing

Findings are ordered by commercial impact, so you can see which items are worth spending on and which are cosmetic.

Questions people ask

Is the audit really free?

Yes. There is no cost and no obligation. It exists because it is the fastest way for us to show you something useful and for you to judge whether we know what we are doing.

How long does it take?

You get the written report within two working days of submitting your website address.

What do I actually receive?

A written report covering twelve checks, each with the finding, why it matters commercially, and what to do about it — ordered by impact rather than by how easy it is to fix.

Do I have to buy anything afterwards?

No. The report is yours to act on however you like, including handing it to another supplier or your own team.

What do you need from me?

Your website address and a contact email. Everything else is measured from the outside using publicly available signals.

Will you add me to a mailing list?

No. We use your details to send the report and to follow up once. There is no marketing list and nothing is shared with third parties.
